Once an open-hall house dating back to the late 1500s, Gallops Cottage brims with character. Think exposed beams, wattle-and-daub walls, low ceilings, and centuries-old charm, paired seamlessly with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
This home offers spacious areas, a fully equipped KITCHEN with modern amenities including induction hob, oven, kettle, toaster and microwave, plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery so you can easily cook up a family meal for everybody with fresh local produce. In addition to this, we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself.

Step through the doors and into the countryside. There is a small fire pit onsite which can be nice to sit around in the summer evenings (Please don't light too close to the house and please clear up afterwards). Gallops Cottage is surrounded by acres of meadowland and backs onto Blackbrook Wood, famed for its spring bluebells. Enjoy:

We really enjoyed our stay here, a beautiful part of the world in a lovely English cottage with stunning extensions and a beautiful garden.
The home was clean, warm and homely. Prosecco was on ice for our arrival and we just felt like a lot of effort had gone in, the lawn was immaculate for example!
A short drive from some beautiful villages. We’d highly recommend.
