We had a lovely stay at this historic cottage. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. All the bedrooms are upstairs with steep staircases, but this was clearly flagged in advance and was exactly as described in previous reviews. The kids particularly loved the outdoor space, with a few toys in the yard that were super useful, and plenty of room to run around. A lovely, peaceful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Gallops Farm as a group of 8 adults and one baby, to celebrate a birthday. The house is a beautiful cottage which retains much of its rustic charm while being very functional. The location was beautiful as the cottage is set in fields so there are beautiful views all around. Definitely recommend the 10min walk to Artelium wine estate which is absolutely stunning and such an amazing spot to have nearby - we walked there one evening for wine and nibbles.
Communication was good overall and check in was straightforward but I would highlight that this property appears to be managed by a company (Huluki Stays) rather than an individual so at times messages felt a little disjointed as they seemed to be being picked up by different people. I would also note the very steep stairs up to one bedroom - this is clearly outlined in the listing so wasn’t a problem but should be noted.
Overall a great find and certainly somewhere we hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Gallops Cottage, it was the perfect place to catch up with family and old friends. The oldest parts of the property are exactly as described, with low ceilings, level changes and steep narrow staircases, but these areas remained lovely and cool when temperatures outside reached the mid thirties!
