Positive: property was so clean, the food was beautiful and staff where so helpful. the rooms where great with lots of facilities and the surrounding village was so nice.

Positive: I wanted a clean, quiet, comfortable room for one night, near Burgess Hill, and that’s exactly what I got. The twin room was snug, but fine for one person. Being on the second floor it was lovely and quiet. The iron in the wardrobe was a bonus and the complimentary orange juice and porridge pot for breakfast were a nice touch! Check in and check out was DIY which suited me as I arrived late and left early.
Car parking was available across the road in a public car park and was free overnight.
The staff I phoned about the booking were all pleasant and helpful.

if the mattress is uncomfortable & the shower does not work then the stay becomes miserable
Positive: Restaurant staff/hotel staff polite and courteous
Negative: 1. Shower cubicle very small and the electric shower in the room did not work no matter what setting was used. It kept cycling from freezing cold to scolding hot. Had to abandon the shower and wash at my visitors house

3. Water and damp stain in ceiling by the wardrobe
