We hosted our first Airbnb Sussex Community Networking last week, at Ridgeview Wine Estate in Ditchling, East Sussex, and we’re ecstatic to announce it was a great success!
Despite the awful weather, short-term rental owners, Sussex-based tourism providers and aspiring landlords all made the drive for a fabulous evening of connection, collaboration and networking.
The evening started off with a talk from our very own Michelle McCartney, Director of Huluki Sussex Stays, followed by Interior Designer: Andrea Stratton from Styling My Room and Phoebe Hindlett from MJS Tax. The round of talks were concluded with a fantastic guided tour of the wine production and cellars of Ridgeview Wine Estate by Martin Garner at Ridgeview.
Attendees learnt about key considerations when marketing their holiday let, how to attract high-value guests, how to optimise tax relief for their holiday let and how the Sussex wine industry plays a vital role in attracting tourists to the area.
